Why we use tool assisted massage (TAM)

The TAM Helps to release the fascia, the layer that covers the muscle. If the fascia is tight and hard it will contribute to pain in the underlying muscle. A tight fascia will not allow the underlying muscle to move freely causing restriction and pain in your movement.

Releasing the fascia can help assist pain in your muscle. It is a gentle treatment that usually causes very little discomfort. This treatment is often used in conjunction with other therapies such as dry needling, shockwave therapy, strapping and exercise rehabilitation.
