At Galleria Podiatry, we offer the following treatments:
Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive medical treatment that employs high-energy acoustic waves to target and alleviate various podiatric conditions. This innovative therapy effectively treats plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, and heel spurs. Shockwave therapy can significantly reduce pain, improve mobility, and accelerate recovery by stimulating the body’s natural healing processes and promoting blood flow to the affected area.
LightForce Laser Therapy
LightForce Laser Therapy is an advanced, non-invasive treatment option for various podiatric conditions. This innovative therapy uses laser technology to stimulate cellular regeneration, reduce inflammation, and promote faster healing. LightForce Laser Therapy treats conditions such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, neuropathy, and even fungal nail infections. Delivering targeted and painless laser energy to the affected area helps patients experience relief from foot and ankle pain, improves circulation, and accelerates the healing process.
Dry needling is a therapeutic technique used in podiatry to address a variety of musculoskeletal conditions and chronic pain issues. This minimally invasive procedure involves the insertion of fine needles into trigger points or tight muscle bands to release tension and alleviate discomfort. In podiatry, dry needling is commonly used to treat conditions such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, and shin splints. Dry needling can help reduce pain, improve mobility, and enhance overall foot and lower limb function by targeting specific areas of muscle tightness and promoting improved blood flow.
PACT Toenail Fungus Therapy
PACT (Photodynamic Antimicrobial Therapy) Toenail Fungus Therapy is an innovative and effective treatment for onychomycosis, commonly known as toenail fungus. This therapy harnesses the power of light-activated agents and specific wavelengths of light to target and eliminate fungal infections in the toenails. PACT therapy is a non-invasive, painless, and safe option for individuals struggling with stubborn and unsightly toenail fungal infections. It can effectively treat fungal toenail infections, promoting healthy nail growth and restoring the appearance of the affected nails.
Nail bracing is a therapeutic approach to address painful toenails, such as ingrown or curved and deformed nails. This non-invasive method involves the application of a specially designed brace to the affected toenail, which gently corrects its shape and encourages proper growth. By applying gentle pressure, nail bracing helps alleviate discomfort and prevents the recurrence of painful ingrown toenails.
KeryFlex™ Toenail Treatment
KeryFlex™ is a remarkable treatment that offers a solution for damaged, discoloured, or unsightly toenails. This innovative procedure allows podiatrists to restore the appearance of toenails by creating a natural-looking, flexible, and durable artificial nail over the existing one. Whether due to fungal infections, trauma, or other causes, KeryFlex™ provides an effective cosmetic solution. It improves the aesthetic appearance of the nails and boosts the confidence and self-esteem of individuals who may be self-conscious about their toenails.
Tool Assisted Massage (TAM)
Tool Assisted Massage (TAM) targets soft tissue issues, muscle tightness, and discomfort in the feet and lower limbs. This method employs specialised tools to massage deep tissue and release tension in specific areas. TAM effectively treats plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, and muscle strains.
At Galleria Podiatry, our team often prescribes customised exercises and stretches to complement the treatment of muscular and joint injuries. These tailored exercises improve strength, flexibility, and mobility in the affected areas, aiding healing and preventing further issues. By incorporating exercises into your treatment plan, we aim to optimise your recovery and ensure long-term foot and lower limb health, helping you get back on your feet and stay active.
In addition, we at Galleria Podiatry can address issues related to sports podiatry, such as biomechanical imbalances, sports-related injuries, footwear recommendations, performance enhancement, Diabetes management, and children’s podiatry.
