Miss Rachael Kirk (Podiatrist)

Hi, my name is Rachael Kirk,

I graduated from the University of Western Australia’s (UWA) Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine degree. I am also a member of the Australasian Podiatry Association and the UWA podiatric medicine alumni.

My keen interest in human biology, health and fittness drew me to podiatry. The greatest thing about podiatry for me is that it combines these interests with the ability to help people and really make a difference. My main podiatric interests include biomechanics, the diabetic foot and nail surgery. I like advancing my knowledge and skills by keeping up to date with current literature and treatments within medical and podiatric fields.

When I’m not working hard to keep you on your feet I love spending time at my local beach with my family and friends. I enjoy keeping fit by doing a variety of activities including swimming, beach runs and dance classes, one of my life-goals is to run a marathon, but I still need to train a lot more before then!! Catching up with a good friend for a walk and a lovely chat is my favourite way to keep healthy and happy.

I love to travel, my favorite holidays to date have been sailing and hiking in the Whitsunday’s, mountaineering in New Zealand, thouroughly relaxing in Bali and I take every opportunity I can to go snowboarding. One day I really hope to go to Japan during the ski-season and sail around the mediterranean.

Looking forward to meeting you soon!

Kind Regards,

Miss Rachael Kirk (Podiatrist)
