What is it? How does it work ?
Parrafin wax therapy has been used since 1962 because it is one of the most effective methods of delivering heat to aching joints. Melted parrafin wax is able to retain a great amount of heat, which is then safely transfered to the affected body part as the wax hardens.
What is it used for ?
Fast, drug-free relief for painful arthritis, bursitis, and chronic joint inflammation. Parrafin wax therapy relaxes aching, tired muscles, relieves stiffness and muscle spasms. It is twice as beneficial as traditional moist heat treatments.
Heat from the parrafin wax also opens pores and increases blood flow in the skin. It stimulates circulation as well as deeply moisturises, nourishes and protects dry, damaged or cracked skin.
Is it safe
Yes. There are no side effects with the use of parrafin wax. If you are still concerned you should consult your GP.
